The Challenge

An orthodontic practice has two locations. In 2013, these locations generated just eight patients from Google, representing a mere $750 in revenue. That year, online business was nothing to write home about.

The Work

The practice hired ATF in January 2014. We focused 80% of our campaign on increasing organic Google rankings for both locations—especially the one that needed more help. First, we identified SEO deficiencies on the practice’s website. Then, we increased our client’s Google rankings all on page one and majority in above the fold top of page, in a search results page) for majority of six search terms— both in (e.g. Orthodontist Richmond Hill) search results and on Google maps (Local). Finally, we built multiple high quality links from other sites, raising Google rankings significantly from page 3 to page 1.

The Results

Our campaign’s first Google-generated patient walked through the doors in March 2014—just two months after we began. By January 2015, the practice had generated 40 phone calls through organic Google search. Out of these, it booked 35 appointments, generating $79,250 for the year. Our work produced a 300: 1 (300%) return on investment (ROI). The client renewed its contract through 2016.
